Probably. Lovely bird…great shame.

They’ve had some narrow misses on our patio doors, especially when the prey slammed into it first.

This one* veered off onto the bird table and looked at the dead dove behind some pots. She flew off when I went to the window and I threw the dead dove onto the lawn. She never came back for it…the crows took it!

 Tried again this morning to video this flight, this time perched on 3m steps leaning against the garage......

It's bl**dy hard hand holding the 600mm steady enough for video. I was moving about more than the birds!!!!


Decided to give up the idea of videoing until I can work off a tripod at ground level. That will mean a trip to the estuary as there's too much urban foreground at ground level here.


Grabbed some stills at least.
