after a lot of recent wheeling and dealing I have now sold the 500mm f4 , the 200-400 f4 as they were to heavy for me , I also decided to get rid of the tamron 150-600 as it was not quiet right ? anyway I took a chance and bought a cheap grade 6 nikon 200-500 f5.6 VR from wex just to have a usable zoom , imagine my surprise on Friday when opening the box to find what I can only describe as a mint condition lens for around half the normal used price . had a few hours out with it over the weekend and very pleased with the results .heres a couple of redshanks taken in gale force winds hand held  NIKON D500 f/6.3 : Speed 1/2000 : ISO 720 : Lens AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR  NIKON D500 f/6.3 : Speed 1/1600 : ISO 400 : Lens AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Last edited on Sun Oct 26th, 2025 22:04 by |
