Today PhaseOne updated Capture Pro and Capture Express to version 7.
This version has major changes in the engine and DAM features.  I havent seen if it includes support for the XPro1 or the D600 but I am hoping that it will be there.
Please, please!!

Just read the release notes.

No I havent gone for the D600 as I hope the D400 will come before Christmas then I will update my D300 and finish at that point.

I dont want more than 24MP but the D800 pushed me to 36MP.
It is very good and the detail in incredible but do I need that much detail as I didnt have a problem with my D3S.

I got some D600 from HK.

For those of us who prefer the use of a File Browser for image browsing this still exists in Capture Pro v7 but is called Sessions.

I really dont know why they called it that. If they wanted to be obscure they could not of tried harder!

The Catalogs do work very quickly but it is still a little bit buggy I think as I had to refresh my catalog as it stuck half way through the latest half of my image collection 2008-2012. Then it had a glitch at the end but all seems to be OK.
Need to do it for the early period 1999-2007. That is a smaller collection at present until I get round to scanning my slides. The nice thing is that it handles the image store being spread over multiple hard disks very nicely.

JK-

The guys at the local Apple store have been pushing me to use Phase One for the last 5 years!

It always seems to me to be a 60% complete app..and then there is a new version.

Seems easier to hang in there with PS and my closet full of plugins :-)
