That is very interesting.  Wish it had been available a few years ago before I invested in different technology.

Considering what it does, given the range of functions, it's a good deal.

The only two foibles I see are the dependency on the smartphone's GPS, which I find occasionally erratic, like up the five miles out at times.  It can of course be overridden in Lightroom and the limit of 30 seconds exposure time, it's inability to utilise 'bulb' to time longer exposures is an oversight.  This has relegated it from the top of my shopping list I just use Lightroom if I feel location is important.

I understand there is very little additional drain on the camera, or smartphone batteries, battery drain seems not to be a concerning issue.

This is the map of locations Jeff and I visited on our flying tour.

The image posted direct seems small, here is a Flicker version.

So you have one?
Did you buy it in UK or from USA?

Not yet, other priorities for now, Birna has several, they work fine in the Z's, I know of several other happy users.

They are made in Germany.

Interesting.  I might follow up with you to find out more.

Like Chris I dont like the connection of the Micnova into my Z7.  It looks like a problem waiting to happen with the plug sticking out from the camera body the way it does.

I will see if I can get a right angled plug that fits into the body.  If I find one I will post a link.
