Mmmm, exciting.

Anybody got a spare 17-35 2.8 to try that on?

I have a small ultrasonic cleaner I use a lot for cleaning carburettors and other small delicate items, works very well, it's good for glass too...

Maybe they should have just left it as it was with the salt residue on the lenses. Would have been like getting a free star effects filter I would think.
