At last. 2700usd with an April release. Always found my old one useful despite the criticism of some folks.

I'm back in Guyana.
Today I have been to Mt. Roriama and also went on a recce for a waterfall that I wanted to visit.

Saw the news on the replacement 80-400 in AFS and VRii. Very useful upgrade. It has taken 5 years of user badgering to get Nikon to do this upgrade. Wish I had on now, I brought my 70-300 AFS VRii with my D300, XE1 with 60mm and XPro1 with 18-55. Good light combo.

I had a hands on with the D600. I am confused now but too much other stuff to worry about it t present. `my problem is the lack of the 10pin connector as I am fully kitted for controlling cameras via this but as long as I can use the USB interface instead for GPS and data transfer and remote control of camera I might bite for one as a D300 replacement if the D400 doesnt come in the mean time.

Excuses! ;-)

Take a couple of JPEGS just for us?

Have been looking at Goggle Earth, spectacular landscape, in between the clouds... There are some images posted. The humidity must be extreme?
