Can 'New Themes' be deleted?

I keep clicking on it's new post Green down arrow which always produces the same result... nothing!

I found a couple of posts in the db that never got onto the topic - I have deleted them from the db so you shouldn't get the green arrow now, and even if you do, it should take you to the last post.

Thanks for that Chris, I think the splash screen is a big plus for the forum, way better than the rotating and recent images in the left hand margin of the recent posts screen.

To be honest I haven't yet had the splash screen come up on my computer yet, except when coming back to the tab from other activities. I will try to leave the computer alone for five minutes, if I can...

Mmmm, have sat and watched the screen for 20 minutes and no splash screen appeared. o.O

What can I do to provoke it into action?

10 it is :coffee:

I have found a plugin for the editor that is supposed to auto save the content to local storage - I have installed it but am yet to find out how it works!

That sounds like me, get it, then figure out how it works, AND IF it works!

I just made a cuppa, :coffee: when I came back the splash was active.  I'm still trying to remember if I had activated it before I went downstairs or not.  Time may reveal the answer. o.O
