not logical chris , that's what I'm on about having to navigate via arrows . on other forums it goes either to last post or last viewed without faffing about

I know - I argued just that - but when I changed the code to make the topic link go to last unread, it screwed up the pagination and you couldn't get out of the last page!

I'll see if I can persuade it to play nicely.

OK - that took an hour & a half to find the bit of code that generates the topic links  - buried about 4 functions deep! Took all of 10secs to add the extra code to make them go to first new post.

See if it works for you.

I just noticed that if I edit a post it then checks the email box.

Hopefully another squashed bug.

It's like fixing burst pipes, fix one leak and another pops up.

It all started with this...
