AHH....thats a debatable point. How much digital manipulation is "acceptable" before we say it's not right?

The latest AI tsunami is going to change everyone's perception of "what exactly is photography?"

The subject has been covered on another thread started by Graham who was writing an article for a professional photography magazine.

For example here is a Lynx I photographed in Colorado......

What a coincidence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you consider the engineering - electronic and mechanical - which makes the production of these images possible, you can do the same with musical instruments and the sounds they make, but it still requires extremely talented people to make these devices produce their full potential . My "cheating" remark was tongue in cheek - and if you hadn't added the second photograph, I wouldn't thought any more than" how the hell did he get up there to take that shot?":applause:

There’s a whole heap of “photos I took but not in the place I took them” on the AI thread somewhere.

Here's a couple of seemingly mundane insects. The first is a mayfly imago? or nymph with wing buds. It was on the wall in the utility room, and,on reflection ,it must have been dead for some time.

The second is a moth, also dead ( we had recently sprayed the carpet with a carpet moth killer ), but try as I might, I have not found the exact creature in any of my moth books!
