Not all phone images are equal - like DSLRs it depends how you set them up.

This one was taken on my Samsung S24.

You are right of course but I haven’t printed a photo for several years….apart from 
The advantage of phone sensors is the immense depth of field they enable …if you need it. Jan was photographing a minute false widow spider on her orchids the other day. It was only about 3mm long! ( she wanted to identify what it was) . 
I tried to get a comparable image with the Sony + 90mm macro but struggled with f28 and noise due to the low light in that location.

My Edelweiss have done very well this year I have in the past had no luck with them but conditions have been good this year even with no snow!

A set subject in camera club this season for one evening is "pastal shades" so I have just worked up two of my normal flower Sony AI photos in AI photoshop and produced these 2 images
