Bad luckj with the weather but I did my best here are a first few. All will be with my D500 and Nikons 18-140 AF-S DX lens. The lens is a very good as a general trip if away for a few days in a city, results pin sharp but tin bit of barrel distortion only aty 18mm. Not a Nikon in sight, boat to boat on the Grand Canal. Nikon D500 18-140mm at 140mm.(But did see a photographer in St Mark's Sq with a Nikon and the new 500mm lens! Attachment: Tourists0992_00001.jpg (Downloaded 35 times)

Brings back memories of many visits to the city. Great view of the main island from there top of the tower in your image of the entrance to the Grand Canal. Island like Burano and Torcello worth a visit.

Yes we went to Burano about an hour from Venice main island on the water bus. Very dramatic coloured buildings and home of lace-making. Plenty of tourist interest and money making for local shops! Attachment: Burano1043_00001.jpg (Downloaded 35 times)
