How long has this group been screaming for a D400? I live in Williamsburg, Va and it is a tourist haven. When I wonder down to the historic area, I always look at what folks are using to take photos. Phone cameras and P&S are the majority. Very very few entry level DSLR's and a few die hard folks with pro level gear. In the summer, I see most of the folks dragging around the pro level gear sitting on benches in the 94 degree heat with 98 percent humidity. But then again, I am just looking at this from what I see in the US.

Gary, they need to follow the locals to the Fuji store for a nice XE1/2. I just got myself the 14mm f2.8 as I needed a wider lens than 18mm. The 10-24mm from Fuji wont be out until February which is when I am in Hong Kong.

You should be able to get some good use out of the 10-24mm while in Hong Kong - looking forward to your photos. I have the two zooms and the 23mm and could not be happier. I find my self in constant possession of the X20 when out of the house. Life is good in Fuji land.

Need to get used to the 14mm so I can use it in HK. If I see the 10-24 in the shops in HK I will probably succumb! ![]()

Some lenses I've ordered from outside Canada come in with no charges while others don't. Partly depends on how the seller fills out the customs forms (wink).

I think Nikon have priced themselves out of much of the market. We are in a recession, globally, still in reality. For most people, photography is a hobby. It is not an essential purchase. I'd love a df but even if I had the money (laughs heartedly) I wouldn't spend that sort of money.
