JK, The 80-200 in that topic is certainly not a current lens. That lens was last made circa 1992. Regards, Gilbert

I think there was some debate about the lens and whether it was the AFD or th eAF that was being referred to. Peter has the AFD version which the tech person at Nikon was getting confused with but Peter was still having a focus problem with.

Gilbert, this lens is still on the current line-up and the the latest catalog and when I requested that the scratched front element be replaced, the Nikon staff even confirmed "You're lucky that there're spare parts as the lens is still in production".
