Thanks guys. Sorry for the silence .. I'm on my way to the airport.

Sorry to disappoint Robert, although he didn't shoot himself in the foot. Thise Canon-Nikon adaptors are not very good .. at least the ones with glass in are really C**p. The best solution I have found is an achromatic 3x on my sigma 150. The 10x are horrible, but the 3x is OK. The Canon 500D has a role to play as well.
