I been waiting to see this head to head review. https://youtu.be/Wj5vydR3ymE Not my favourite review but still very good. Enjoy and hope it helps you with decision making. I still say it is how it feels in your hands and the control layout rather than the absolute specs! These clinical studio tests are all very well, but take the photos handheld in a real world situation and I am sure any differences will be indiscernible. As we have said many times, the more capable the sensor...the more precise the technique required to resolve it. Slight subject or camera movement due to wind or wobble, coupled with less than ideal camera settings and the inevitably the subsequent digital adjustments, will all level the IQ playing field.

It is like horses - highly educated and athletic horses are for expert riders that can handle them to get the best out of them, like Charlotte Dujardin & Valegro - it is so easy to be "over horsed" and far better results can be achieved with something less finely tuned if you do not have that level of skill. I know my limitations which is why the 610 is my camera and I would never buy any of the high end cameras - in fact some of my very best images were taken on a Kodak box brownie on 120 film.

The reason I got yester-year " high ends " is they will not break so easy..... and I am not looking to replace them any time soon....Kodak SlrN - D3s - D3X...to me the Best camera spread over Three bodies, with batteries I can afford....( backed-up by ...D1 - D1X ).. Seems like only yesterday , that I Proudly was able to load a 35mm cartridge within 5 minutes without dropping anything.....that would be with an " F "... ....anyone knowing those , will understand that pride...
