A1i used….£2000 So …I could trade in my A1i and give them £4500 for a new A1ii that will give me ….what? I haven’t read the full spec but just about the only thing that made me look up was the feature that captures a few frames before you press the button. I can see how that might be useful for bird or other action photography….but is it really worth £4500? Not to me. So I am going to stick with my A1i.

Iain wrote:You have been lucky with the A1, I’ve had to do mine a few times. Panic today. Went to sort camera gear out and put the right lens on the body for quick use. Took off the lens and the sensor was visible. ![]() Switched the camera on to see why the blind hadn’t come across when the lens was removed….battery flat. So flat it didn’t even have enough residual electrickery to close the blind. Just hope I didn’t get any fluff in there. **I was nonchalantly doing the changeover on my lap while sat on the bed which had a fluffy cover on it and loads of specks on my trouser just waiting to dash into my camera body with every movement. ![]() That would teach me not to be so blasé over keeping my sensor clean.
