Well that all makes sense to me Eric. But there is sense, no sense and nonsense. I think I might be in the middle group with my cameras!! ![]() ![]() Totally off topic. Fancy spoiling yourself and Jan .... It wont fit in the studio. https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=P2dHZP2hyPP&utm_source=sendinblue&utm_campaign=Virtual_Showroom&utm_medium=email

What I find frustrating is that camera manufacturers in general all produce a range of cameras that are always a compromise - they NEVER put all the best features into just one model - so you end up with the best compromise for YOU and then when they bring out a model with a different set of compromises that are a better fit with you then you want to buy the new model. Great marketing and good for the company turnover but not so good for the consumer. Computers and cars work in a similar way. I must be the marketers' nightmare - I hang on to stuff way past its use by date! If it does break then I fix it if I can - notice that spares are impossible to get hold of? I see the government is considering " right to repair" legislation, so manufacturers will have to provide spares and repair services for 10 years.... ... and no I won't be buying any new digital camera until my 610 dies and I can't fix it, even then it will be a used camera at a fraction of the current new price!

We watched a coach size American motorhome squeeze into a campsite in the Loire a couple of years back. The only place it would fit was outside the toilet block.....nice! Something like this one.... https://mercuryarv.co.uk/vehicles/2004-MONACO-DYNASTY-BISHOP-III-400HP-3-SLIDE-110133.html They had two awnings over each of two side doors and two sets of tables and chairs. You guessed it...there were only two people. Go figure! It had British plates so I went to I suppose they could have really gone ott and towed a Lamborghini behind ....to go to the shops. ![]()

Tow it behind???? Some of those things have a garage underneath them! Ideally I would have a horsebox like this - ![]() Click here to comment on this image. Then I could ride to the shops .... ![]() All for a cool quarter million!

I remember seeing some of those beasts at Burnham Market Horse Trials. They are all great when going A to Z. But if you want to go A >C >B > F > H .....and back to A, you need something more manoeuvrable.

Problem is as soon as you are 70 you need a medical to be allowed to drive it. Also nice long leisurely holidays from UK are now stoped by Brexit. Only <=90 days in EU allowed in 180 days! Thanks need to be expressed to all those who voted for Brexit.

Lol - no problem for me - I have a son with a full HGV licence ![]() The 90 day limit only applies to tourist visas not being required - you could always apply for a longer visa if you can dream up the right reasons! I sincerely hope that the vote leave camp end up rueing the day! The only good thing to come out of leaving the EU is that we are not caught up in the vaccine fracas that is going on over there. I despair of getting back to Italy this year ![]()

Only in Italy maybe, not in Spain. Unless you have Residencia + Pay Tax in Spain and are registered to live Full Time in Spain then it is 90 days and out or get deported if they catch you! You get 90 days entry visa automatically and there after you leave and can return 91 days later! So there is no national rules so 'Take back control' means in real terms, We are just lazy British so we havent a clue that we can implement those rules that we want! And we are too superior to have bothered to make our own rules. No wonder you lost an Empire! Too lazy to do anything! I wonder sometimes how the Empire was acquired. BTW: Yes I will be putting on the census form: Nationality = European.

Well I wont identify the whys and wonts of Brexits! But people still dont understand that it will effect everyone in different ways. The Cornish fishermen have just started to realise that they have been sold a pup!
