Hello,

I am using a Nikon D3400.
When I place my hand in front of the camera, the camera adds additional lighting, brightening the scene which is visible in the display.
When I remove my hand away from the front of the camera, there is less lighting and the scene is more dim.

How do I set the camera to have consistent lighting whether my hand is in front of the camera or not?
I am using the camera for video recording.

Any help is appreciated.

It's considered good manners to introduce yourself before asking for help.

Neo, aside from not introducing yourself you have provided insufficient information to allow anyone to help you. We need to know what you are trying to do and what settings you are using.

So please tell us a little about yourself and your photographic experience then explain what you were/are doing to get this response from your camera.
