Yes with anything telephoto Dx reigns. A D810 at Dx is 15mp compared to 24mp for a D5300. About the same with most Dx bodies. Where they lose out is in the limited choise of wide angle lenses. Many are manual and Nikon locks out even the light meter on them in manual mode. ![]()
