I like the type of bobsleigh/luge where you are face down and looking forward (skeleton). I think the lying on your back and feet first way is not right (for me). This is about the only winter sports I would do. Going downhill with planks on the bottom of your feet is too close to insanity. The double luge looks like someone is trying to get the Soviet authorities involved!! No further comment needed. BTW: Skiing people wont agree with these statistics but more people are killed each year skiing (per 1000 participants), usually by skiing off piste, than any other sport that has a large following including scuba diving, motor racing, hang gliding, parachuting, etc, etc.
