What is the difference between the Edit, and Edit Source buttons? They both seem to do the same thing, do we need the Edit Source button, if so why?

I have been wondering what the purpose was for these two buttons and wonder why we need them. The friends button turns into a popularity contest and the ignore is rude. I see no value in either. You can ignore this post if you disagree.

I agree wholeheartedly Gary, and no, I won't ignore you! I think the two buttons 'Ignore' and 'Friend' are intended for a much larger, different kind of forum.

I agree, and particularly browsing on an iPad or phone are too easy to hit in error.

If a report button were added it would be better in a less conspicuous place as it was on the old forum, It doesn't need to be top centre.
