I think the 'Add as Friend' and 'Ignore Member' buttons are a bit large and prominent
A single page could have in excess of 10 'Ignore Member' buttons all of which are too easy to click accidentally

I've ignored a member on purpose to test the functionality and it immediately ignores that members posts throughout the whole forum
It's then not obvious or easy to un-ignore
(go to home page, click my account, click ignore, check box next to ignored member, click remove from list):diggingahole:

I think I agree with you Doug, I also can't see a "Notify Moderator" button which would be useful.

I think they need to be that size to show the text label.
Yes I think we have space and need for a 'Report!' button that sends email to forum moderators with a link to the offending post.

In which case may I make another suggestion?

Make the boards slightly narrower and put the menu to the left hand side. that way you don't have to navigate quite so far to get back to the forum topics page.

Can the ignore and friend buttons not be located on the appropriate members page.

After all ignoring members isn't something we want to do on a frequent basis.

It should also be a two stage process so it can't be done by accident. Especially on small devices.

I think that is a good idea Robert, I know what it's like using a iPhone.

I'll go along with that

I guess moving the buttons to another page would involve changing quite a lot of functionality I guess. Need to discuss how easy/difficult this is with Steve.

I can remove the ignore buttons if we don't want them. I have to tell you the ignore feature is buggy anyway, and sometimes it's a visit into the database to remove members accidentally kicked into ignore.

Yes please Steve, it just adds to the clutter.

What is the 'Friends' button all about, to me all the members here are friends, I don't need to single them out digitally. I suppose on a really large forum with thousands of members it might be needed but not here?
