I've had a few colonoscopies but I don't think they hooked up my DSLR to it. The pictures were very good quality. ![]() ![]() Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

There used to be a member here (but on the old website) called Spacegazr who used to do astrophotography.

As well as the Ansel Adams exhibition in East London there is also the Astronomy Photographer of 2012 in the same area. http://www.rmg.co.uk/visit/exhibitions/astronomy-photographer-of-the-year/ I may have a late January break in London and take in both of them.

Done plenty of astronomy in my time with telescopes, but, just recently I made a rather interesting device:....ex-military triple cascade image intensifier with an old 300 mil Tair on the front. The results were so good you could watch satellites that were supposed to be out of illumination. Car parks and woods also proved 'interesting'.
