Next door neighbour - moved in a few years ago. First day: they have all their mates helping them move in. Unbelievably, during the event a number of their friends assumed a right to park their cars on my driveway. Ok sez I, it's the first day live & let live etc.

next?....their dog escapes gets onto my property and chuck the bin rubbish all over the place.

Mrs new neighbour arrive to reclaim dog....now what do you suppose she said?

"OMG I'm so sorry" NOPE!

No, just grabbed the dog and left saying: "this isn't a good start"...NO KIDDING SHERLOCK! Leaving my wife and I to clean the mess up.

Did she end some flowers round for my wife? NOPE.

Two weeks later....dog does it again. STILL NO APOLOGY!

Now, five years later and after never speaking, Postman knocks on my door and says would I mind signing for and taking in a parcel for her next door.

Ok I said and took the parcel in. Now, it didn't take a genius to tell that it was a Canon lens from Jessops online.

I had to go out, and while I was away the woman next door came round to collect. My son gave it to her..

.....no thank you, no appreciation, not so much as a by your leave!

Next time this miserable git woman of staggering arrogance has a parcel at ours It'll either be refused and sent away, or taken in & crushed in some accident.

I think the question that should be asked is would you want neighbours like that?
And do they have any saving graces?

Unfortunately manners maketh man and woman and without them we descend to be just another animal.
Teaching people late in life to say, Please and Thank you is a difficult task but not impossible.

oops sorry it was meant in a light hearted manner :-( but unfortunately in the good old u.k these days it holds more truth than jest . and i can edit my comment out but now thats its been quoted a few times it don't make a blind bit of difference .
amazing how someone can jump in to complain about a quick quip obviously meant in jest.but can't be bothered to join in any forum discussions ?????

if jk thinks it warrants taking down the whole thread so be it .lets get back to summat really interesting like who's got the best noise reduction installed :diggingahole:
