Just took a quick scan round the net for photography/camera fora - it that is what it takes to be popular then I think we are better off being unpopular! I have never seen such a lot of meanignless babble - mostly from the US!

To try and raise our profile I have set up a facebook page for the forum - it just links over here to redirect people onto the forum - though it will be interesting to see if anyone posts there too.

Yes, let us see what happens then, `tho what I do like about our little forum , is that we do not have any experts here...as compared to other fora.....so refreshing.

I believe the legal definition of an expert is ‘someone who has practised their skill for more than 7 years.’

On that basis, ALL the contributing people on this forum are expert photographers. ;-)

I think he meant "experts" - those who have read a little on google and incessantly broadcast it..... one of the reasons I dropped off the MG fora, the "experts" knew nowt and I got fed up correcting them!

But to stay on topic....I have succesfully installed Sandisk Xtreme Pro 128 GB CF cards in both the D3X and S...they work like a charm...Yes !...that is OneHundred andTwentyEight GigaByte !!....now,if only a D6 would show up with ,say,a thousand clicks on the clock for a Hundred quid.....but I do n`t see any..wonder if the z7 showed up too early stopping photogs. from getting a D6..I wonder.

Hi - I  disabled the donate button as I found that Paypal were ripping off fees on the donations - I have now found out that we can use a paypal.me link , so I have updated the button.
