I think I geolocated them in Lightroom on my return, in fact I am sure I did because I spent a lot of time studying how to get a better position to photograph the Dee bridge with the power station in the background. I don't have a GPS in or on camera, apart from my iPhone, which I don't trust! It has been up to five miles out with some locations... The GPS I referred to is my Garmin in car unit. Jeff was a bit taken aback when we visited the reserve, as we were leaving I did a fix on the location so I could return on my own if I was in the area and maybe meet Jeff there. On my return from Scotland in May, I stopped in Tyndrum for fuel and sustenance, I unplugged the Garmin to pocket it while I had a meal, as I unplugged it the screen pixelated and had an attack of the jaggies, text filled the screen and then it refused to start up. It still refuses to start up and refuses all attempts to update the software or anything else. It's currently languishing in the local tech repair shop, awaiting my collection. I think it needs a clean new system installing but it's not worth spending a lot of money on I have lost most of my GPS locations I logged while in Scotland too. Generally I can find them on the map, but it's good to let the technology do the spade work if it will.

Use Google maps to find the location, click on it and the OS coordinates are shown in the pop up box. That works if you can find the place

I do that regularly, but my predicament is finding places like that actually out on the road. When I have Michael or Christopher with me, they use their 'phones but I won't use my 'phone while driving. I often rely on my Garmin GPS (satnav?) when I am away, to find obscure locations. I think I could probably find it, eventually but I don't like dithering and being distracted by searching for a place on only slightly familiar roads. That is what the GPS is so good at, I am devastated at it's demise.
