I just have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find what app or Web site I created this effect with... It is a single photo, run through some app or filter to create this collage effect of a pile of Polaroid shots side by side with curled edges. Do you have ANY idea how I might have done this? (this is NOT an Eric quiz where I have the answer ![]() Attachment: beach collage.jpg (Downloaded 68 times)

Tom, If you open the file in Photoshop or some other software it may show the originator software for that image file, "Created by" in the EXIF... Also sometimes in 'Get Info' it gives the originator software. That may help?

Thanks, Robert. I have an EXIF viewer and it has no info. Marianne remembers me creating it sitting right next to her...she remembers it to have been done on my macbook, but I'm starting to think it might have been done on the ipad due to the small file size and res (375k and 72dpi). If not that, it must have been a Web site that did the dirty deed ![]() Thanks for the tip Tom

Ed- Thanks...I have seen these tutorials...and they would work to do what I want but only with a huge amount of effort. The app I used did the whole thing in seconds with no effort ![]() cheers, Tom

This is similar to one of the page effects in iPhoto calendars and books. Can't be saved as an image though. I'm sure a search through the App Store for 'collage' or 'montage' will yield a few possibilities

Thanks, Doug. I've opened the user guide or spec page on hundreds of apps in the last 2 weeks with no luck...lots of the parts are there but none seem to put the whole thing together. (and I'm pretty sick of looking at all these apps...most suck ![]() Cheers, Tom

Looking on the gloomy but possibly realistic side perhaps the feature or app was dropped by the developer or it simply withered on the vine as many of these niche things do. Perhaps you are going to have to go the long way round on this if you really need to reproduce the effect. :-( Once you have reproduced it in photoshop it should be easy enough to create an action? (Not sure I could even slice the image though...) ![]()
