As I read it the viewing screen is nailed in, although it may be possible to get it swapped by a competent company? Katzeye were the people, I don't know if they are still trading. http://www.katzeyeoptics.com/cat--Nikon-DSLRs--cat_nikon.html

Since I don't have any significant amount of old glass the Df really doesn't have anything to offer, except style, that my D600 has.
