I know this doesn't count but the feel and durability of the D200 vs the D7000 is noticeable , I can only imagine how the D300 will feel with the D7200

There is no doubt that the D7000 series bodies 'feel' less robust compared to the D200/300. But the D200/300 feel insubstantial when compared to the D3/4!

I think people get too wound up about the feel and possible durability of these bodies...it's the speed of functionality that's important.

I think that the feel is different but that in fact is just a perception as the cameras now all tend to be built on a magnesium shell.
The professional cameras have a heavy duty shutter and weater resistant seals.
The biggest difference to me is the accessory socket with the professional cameras having the 10 pin socket compared to the less durable USB-like socket on the non-professional cameras.
Of course there may be differences between features up and down the range but this is reflected in the price differential between models.
