None of the new FF mirorless models seem to offer significantly more than the D850 or other top line mirrored cameras.

I dont think that mirrorless technology will be able to surpass the DSLR with current technology but in the near future there will be direct read from the sensor in one pass and have a 'global shutter'. To be fair I can see that leaving out power hungry additions makes for a longer battery life and these cameras need all the belp they can get in that department.
