These devices act as a wireless router/bridge that allows you to shared USB attached devices with your iphone and/or ipad. It is a wireless SD card reader, with a USB port so you can attach a USB drive/harddisk and read it on your iphone or ipad. My new toy Adata DashDrive Air AV200 has arrived and it is identical to the Apotop DW09, it even uses the same software.
