I bought a Sigma 70-300mm macro lens APO version for $25. Dont think guy knows what he had but it doesnt have a red stripe, it has a gold stripe. Anybody know why it has a gold amd not a red stripe?

Had a quick search around looking at reviews, seems the band color is related to APO or not APO, it may also be version related but this example seems to be bucking the rule. No time for more research right now but it's an interesting one.
