That isnt the version I am referring to.
Notice this new software comes in April 2019!

The Nikon Press Centre is not very useful as the release tends to be lacking in detail and does not have as much advanced warning of happenings.

are cfexpress cards any easer to get than XQD cards

I dont know as I havent looked but XQD are not cheap as at moment there are only two manufacturers. Also only a limited number of cameras use them.

This was why I was looking for an XQD to SD adapter card.

Far from it, I can't find anyone selling CFExpress cards and XQD are expensive, but high performance, not a great recommendation for either of them.

It is meant to be at or immediately after Easter (19 April) according to the rumour mills but it may be early May.
