Rumors of the D5 indicate a camera similar to the D4 but with these additional features.
The release date looks not right to me as I would have expected an announcement in November 2015, as this is the traditional Nikon time for this, with a release in January/February 2016.

Here is an updated list of rumored Nikon D5 specifications:
    New 20MP FX sensor
New focusing module with larger coverage and 107 or 173 autofocus points (I am getting conflicting reports on that one)
Native high ISO of 102,40015 fps
Body design similar to the D4s
4K video 60/30fpsFull HD slow motion
    Announcement expected in early 2016

Time will see who is right and what arrives.

Personally I want a D5 to have:
Same body and battery as D4S
24MP FX
Better AF module that supports f11 prime lenses or lenses of f5.6 with a x2 converter.
Same features and accessories as D4S

I think they might adopt the new USB-C plug as that is meant to be the new standard!

Now all we'll need is a collection of adapters to connect current USB devices to the new c plugs.

I agree a pair of SD cards would be preferable.
