Looking on Ebay there are quite a few D300 on there for about £280 buy it now.
Is this about the right price now or do you think these could be a bit too cheap?
I've got a D1 & D2H and want to change / exchange them.

I have been looking at D300S prices and those go for £350-450 for low use cameras (<15000 actuations).

£280 is a very good price for a D300 is it in good condition? UK Retail are asking up to £400.00 for a good 2nd hand D300 body at the moment.

This might drop the price even more.

Well that could be great news or really bad news!
Prefer to be positive and hope that the D400 is finally due to arrive.
If it is not a D400 then it needs to be something similar.

The same has happened with Canon (4th headline down):

Maybe we can get a little hopeful... :-)

Look at the Nikon D600, replaced so quickly. I was offered about 1/3 of the original price, as a trade on a D800 and the camera still had 10 months of warrenty and just back from a shutter service.
