f*** that for a lark ,i remember about 20 or so years ago walking across the caldera of nissirios volcano in greece and my trainer soles starting to melt ,you also get spurts of hot steam suddenly spurting out to scald the back of your legs ,only for the very nimble and not fainthearted .and a bloody long way back up if something happened .
all to see a tour guide frying eggs on the crater floor LOL
