They don't hold charge on storage and I also felt they gave up, too soon when used in the flash.
The 2700 later ones were especially disappointing....no better than the 2400.
I would go for eneloop batteries if you use them spasmodically. More expensive than bulk standard rechargeables but hold their charge on storage.
