Smaller, lighter, cheaper coupled with the high ISO capabilities nowadays can be very appealing to some maker sectors. I can't cope with heavy kit anymore so quality f4 suits me now.
You and me both Bob, but Nikon has thrown the baby out with the bath water again. You wait for years for a 70-200 f4 to match Canon then when they bring it out you have to pay extra for a tripod coller that comes standard with the Canon ones.
Come on Nikon get you act in gear.
