Did you pursue them?
I used to work for a marketing guy who got me to do a website for a travel company client.
He provided me with all the images for the places they covered to be used on the site.
One of the images was grabbed from Getty images!!!
Getty invoiced him £4000 for its use.
He eventually negotiated the price down to £800…but he had to pay it to save face with his client.
