Regarding quality of images, here's one I took earlier........last century actually. They were the days, ferreting about in the darkroom waiting to see the results of my efforts

I don’t miss the hours in the smelly darkroom but I have to say there is a timeless quality in BW images before digital.
It’s as if digital has made things just a little bit too “edgy” and in doing so, it’s taken the ….….err…..”smoothness/comfort?” out of the image.
