I know exactly what you mean Eric , I have to admit my success rate with the d500 hasn’t yet reached the level of my Olympus gear but when it gets it right it’s superb , a lot of the problems are me as I like to tinker and try to improve things .
Time will tell if I’ve made the right move or not and summer is not my favourite season either can’t wait for the return of the overwintering birds
